National Merchants Association has had a strong presence at this year’s industry conferences, with the Executive Team and the Sales Team on the trade show circuit nonstop until the middle of November – which included October’s big trade show, the Western States Acquirers Association 11th annual conference.
It was a roaring success! The Team obtained new business leads, met up with partners and agents, and hosted a cocktail party to wrap up the end of the successful show.
The NMA cocktail party attracted a lot of visitors, all of which wanted to network with the hostess, Heather Petersen, CEO of National Merchants Association.
Ms. Petersen was delighted with the success of the party.
“The turnout was incredible, our venue was packed,” Ms. Petersen recalled. “As soon as I completed one conversation, I had more industry professionals to meet, hands to shake, and introductions to make. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end the trade show!”
Kandace Carrasco, ISO Relations, networked alongside Ms. Petersen throughout the show.
“This was my first huge trade show. The regional shows are a great way to connect with local bankcard professionals, and continue building relationships with the ISOs and partners who attend the same multitude of conferences that National Merchants Association exhibits at,” Ms. Carrasco said.
Networking parties are a key component at these trade shows, as it allows the industry professionals to mingle and chat with their peers and compare products, services, and make important connections that may lead to future partnerships.
“National Merchants Association has plans for many future trade shows, as well as networking parties during these conferences,” Ms. Petersen announced. “We look forward to meeting with all of our guests, and forging new relationships with the trade show attendees!”
Up next for November is Money20/20 and ad:tech, two trade shows that the National Merchants Association Team is looking forward to attending.
