It’s happened again – a data breach, and this time, in Canada.

Walmart and CVS, two huge international retailers, faced data breached that may have compromised their consumers’ financial information. The hack? Online photo services.

A recent New York Times article stated that both companies use a third party service to handle their online photo processing, a company that is owned by Staples, who recently had their own data breach.

Comprehensive information about the breadth of the breach has not been calculated, but over a million customers could possible have been affected.

Management has no reason to believe that the United States branch of the companies was affected at all.

The proper authorities as well as the credit card companies are working to handle the breach and regain complete security.
