Passionate payments professional and longtime NMA employee, Diane Driscoll, ETA CPP, receives Wnet Lean In to Lead Award

TEMECULA, Calif. – September 27, 2018 — Diane Driscoll, ETA CPP, Partner Underwriting Manager, National Merchants Association (NMA), has received the Lean In to Lead Award from the Women’s Network in Electronic Transactions (Wnet). This award – which is one of only four awarded at Wnet’s annual Leadership Summit – is given to one member who has stepped forward to take on a leadership role; to add ideas and expertise, and provide leadership/support to other members.

“Diane was our unanimous choice for this award,” said Lisl D. Dutterer, CAE, Wnet Executive Director. “Diane has always stepped up to lead projects; both small and large. Diane has [also] successfully brought other women from NMA into the Wnet, helped them engage, and ensured that they found satisfaction in their participation.”

Driscoll first joined Wnet in 2015 in an effort to deeply immerse herself in the world of payments while simultaneously growing her leadership capabilities and professional network.

“I initially joined because I wanted to get as involved as I could in order to help move the industry forward,” said Driscoll. “I know that what you put into your professional career determines what you get back, so I wanted to take advantage of every professional development opportunity possible.”

Driscoll’s involvement with Wnet has spilled into her professional life – making her a dynamic member of NMA’s industry-renowned Risk Department. Under Driscoll’s leadership, the company’s quality control initiatives have flourished – ensuring that NMA remains the leader in High Risk Done Right®.

“At NMA, we believe that our people are our greatest assets, so we invest in them and encourage them to take advantage of any/all opportunities to grow,” said CEO Heather (Petersen) Altepeter. “We are so proud of Diane and her many accomplishments at NMA thus far. She is so deserving of this prestigious honor, and we’re excited to continue to support her as she makes a name for herself in the payments space.”

National Merchants Association is a top sponsor of Wnet, supportive of more than 10 active Wnet members within NMA. For more information on NMA and/or where leaders like Driscoll and our executive team fall in the payments ecosystem, please visit www.NationalMerchants.com.
