The first Monday in September is reserved as a national holiday for workers in the United States of America, a tribute to the laborers who have dedicated long hours to their companies and their careers.

National Merchants Association is taking the day off in observance of this holiday, and the Team that Works For You® has big plans for the weekend!

Jonathan Purviance, Business Development Manager, plans to catch up with old friends, take up a few rounds of golf, and enjoy Monday Night Football.

“I’m looking forward to this three-day weekend,” Jonathan says. “It’s a nice break to relax before the fast pace of the holiday season arrives.”

The Team is working hard to wrap up projects and complete account deals before the end of the business day.

“The phones have been ringing off the hook today!” Pablo Nuñez, Risk Analyst, claims. “Our agents and merchants are wanting to get last minute account details before they take their mini vacations!”

The Team Members at National Merchants Association are also planning mini vacations of their own. Heather Petersen, Chief Executive Officer, is planning on taking her family out on their boat in the San Diego Harbor.

“With the many trade shows we’ve been attending recently, the back-to-back meetings, and the multitude of events we are preparing for the rest of the year, I’m excited to spend a weekend away to rejuvenate and energize!” Heather exclaims. “National Merchants Association is gearing up for the busiest end-of-the-year yet. We’ve got innovative programs we are debuting and outstanding venues to showcase these programs. Once the office reopens after Labor Day, our industry professionals are teaming up for our next trade show. Western States Acquirers Association, here we come!”
