In a recent article citing a new Nilson Report, U.S. merchants’ card processing fees are continuing to steadily rise.

In 2014, $78.09 billion was earned in processing fees – those are just the fees paid to the card brands, acquirers, and processors that allow merchants to accept debit and credit card payments!

Of course, Visa and MasterCard brought in the most in credit and debit fees, with American Express trailing behind quite a bit. Interchange fees continue to rise each year, and the cost of accepting credit cards increases as well.

The good news is, National Merchants Association is the only association in the United States working on behalf of merchants to eliminate the unnecessary and unreasonable fees associated with accepting credit cards. Basically, we make it as cost efficient as possible to allow your customers to swipe and key in their payment information to purchase your goods and services.

As a business ourselves, we know how expensive it can be to run a business. So we take the confusion and stress out of payment processing and Work For You® to take care of you and your business.

Processing credit cards shouldn’t cost you billions. With National Merchants Association, it won’t!
